I care about your privacy, and I take the handling of your personal information seriously, particularly given the nature of the work we do together. This policy explains what information I collect, why I collect it, and how I look after it.

Company Details

Olivia Lei ("I", "me", "my") operates this website (olivialei.com) as a sole trader (ABN 92775024633) offering psychic mediumship and soul alignment coaching services, including Solar Sessions, Lunar Sessions, and the Back to Source coaching program.


Information Collected

Depending on how you interact with me, I may collect:

  • Contact details: name, email address, and sometimes phone number, when you book a session, join my newsletter, or get in touch.

  • Booking and payment information: session date and time, and payment details processed securely through Stripe (I don't see or store your full card details myself).

  • Session content: notes and recordings I take during or after a reading, and anything you choose to share with me before or during a session, which may include personal, health-related, or emotionally sensitive information. I collect this only to provide the session and any follow-up recap.

  • Quiz responses: if you complete the Soul Alignment Archetype Quiz, your answers and the archetype result you're matched with.

  • Website and email engagement data: general analytics (like page visits) through Squarespace, and email open/click data if you're subscribed to my newsletter through Flodesk.

  • Social media interactions: if you engage with me on Instagram, that platform's own privacy policy also applies to that interaction.


Collection Method

Mostly, you give it to me directly: through booking forms (Acuity), the quiz (Typeform), email sign-up forms, or in conversation during a session. Some information (like basic site analytics) is collected automatically when you browse the site.


Why Information Is Collected

I use your information to:

  • Book, prepare for, and deliver your sessions

  • Process payments

  • Send you session recaps, recordings, and follow-up notes

  • Send you newsletter content, if you've subscribed (you can unsubscribe anytime)

  • Match you to a quiz result and send your Soul Alignment Blueprint

  • Improve my website and services

  • Meet legal and tax obligations as a registered business

I don't sell your personal information, and I don't use it for anything beyond running this practice.


Where Your Information Is Shared

I use a small number of trusted third-party services to run my business. These providers may process your information on my behalf:

  • Squarespace – website hosting, forms, and email campaigns

  • Acuity – session scheduling

  • Stripe – payment processing

  • Typeform – the Soul Alignment Archetype Quiz and any onb

  • Zoom – video sessions

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data, and some may store or process information on servers located outside Australia (including the United States). I only work with providers who take data security seriously, but I'd encourage you to review their policies if you'd like more detail.

I don't share your information with anyone else, other than where required by law.


Sensitive Information

Because of the nature of my work, session content can sometimes touch on sensitive information, including things related to health, relationships, or emotional wellbeing. I treat this with particular care: it's used solely to provide your session and any related follow-up, and I don't disclose it to third parties beyond what's needed to run the practical side of the business (like payment processing).


Data Storage & Security

I store client notes and records in secured, password-protected systems, and take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access. That said, no online system is completely secure, and I can't guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to me electronically.


How Long I Keep Your Information

I keep client and booking records for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal and tax obligations (generally a minimum of five years for financial records under Australian tax law), and maintain a reasonable history for returning clients. You can ask me to delete your information at any time, subject to my legal record-keeping obligations.


Your Rights

You can ask me to:

  • Access the personal information I hold about you

  • Correct any information that's inaccurate or out of date

  • Delete your information, where I'm not required to keep it for legal reasons

  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time, using the link in any newsletter

Overseas Disclosure

My services are intended for adults. I don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
